Ethan Habetler - Instructor

Born and raised in the suburbs of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Attended West De Pere high school and graduated in 2020. Started my college baseball career at South Suburban College where I collected 14 hits in 12 games including 2 triples and 4 doubles as a true freshman. I ended up transferring to Dallas-Brookhaven where I eventually got hurt. I transferred again to Crown College and have been here since the 2023 season. Last season I was awarded UMAC Honorable Mention after slashing .388/.488/.505. I spend my summers playing for a team back home called the Green Bay Blue Ribbons of the Wisconsin State League. I also had a brief stint with the Minot Hot Tots of the Northwoods Leauge. I am headed into my 5th and final season of college baseball in 2025 and will graduate with a degree in exercise science with a minor in pre-med.
I have experience head coaching travel baseball at the 14u level and have done so for 2 summers. I have been involved with Pitch 2 Pitch for almost a year now and mainly do hitting instruction for all ages. I am open to all ages!
My style of coaching varies with the age group, the younger the kid, the more I remind them that baseball is fun and do my best to make sure my time with them is enjoyable. For the 14-15 pre high school varsity range I tend to be a little more critical of movements to prepare them for high school varsity baseball. The 16-17 high school varsity baseball range for me is about being more particular and critical about movements and approaches to hitting to prepare them for college baseball.
